blending is to soften any distinct lines from the shadow. The finished look you want is soft, almost as if it were airbrushed on.You can use shadow to create a soft and smokey look under the eyes. Using the shadow crease brush and the same color that you used in the crease of the eye, apply shadow to the lower lash line. Remember you want the line under your eye to be soft and smokey looking. If you need to tidy up the line after you apply it, just use the clean side of your makeup sponge, like an eraser.

Applying shadow to the crease of the eye allows you to create the most drama and depth. Remember, makeup is all about highlights and shadows. Using the Lusso Shadow Crease brush, dip it into the shadow color and tap off the excess product. Highlight shadow creates contrast and helps give your eyes more depth. On our model we have used the highlight shadow under the arch of the eyebrow. Highlight shadow can also be used as a base shadow for shimmery look. (Fig.2)

Remember, it’s important to prepare the lid before applying any eyeshadow. Apply foundation to the entire eyelid, this will even out any discoloration so that you see the true color of the shadow. The second component to preparing the eyelid is to apply loose powder. Since Lusso Eyeshadow is in powder form it will blend well with the loose powder on the lid.

Base shadow is best applied with a soft brush such as our Lusso base shadow brush. The large soft brush delivers just enough shadow to create a wash of color across the lid.
